• When it’s standing up. You can see a button middle top of back. Push that button and the bottom comes right off.

• There are two ways to clean the crumb tray area, like a regular toaster you can pull the tray out. And the other is when the oven is in the flip-up position, there is a button to open the compartment to clean.
