“Is this blender good for using it to blend cooking ingredients for example, putting in fried beans and a bit of water? Please advise. My mom’s going to use it for cooking and NOT for drinks nor smoothies.”

• Your mother would love this machine. Not only is the drink making power phenomenal but that is only 2 of the 12 pre-sets on this big guy. She can make sauces, salsas, dressings, creamy soup, hearty soup, dips and the list just keeps going. I'm a professional chef and oh how I wish there was a commercial version of this exact machine. 1400w of pure power.

• Definitely! It’s a great blender for smoothies etc but it’s a regular blender for your normal salsas, retried beans etc. Great purchase

• We would not suggest using this system to blend hot ingredients, however, once the ingredients cool you are able to blend them using this blender.
