“Can the smallest pots/pans stack in the bigger ones with the middle sizes missing? Or if I need to cook with the medium sized pan, do they have to remain completely un-nested until the medium one is cleaned, dried, and ready to stack back in the middle?”

• Yes, they will stack that way, however they must still be nested from largest to smallest from bottom to top.
