“When pressure cooking , most recipes say to allow Ninja to "quick release" and then turn to vent. How long does that normally take? Mine has never done a quick release or maybe I don't give it enough time. I always turn it to vent.Thank you in advance.”

Turning on the vent when the food is done IS the quick release. It take a few minutes. When the red indicator on the top drops down, you can open the lid.
