QuestionI bought one of these in December. Just went to use it for the first time. When I plugged it in, it looks like no electricity is going to the unit. Is there a lock or something that needs to be released?

- Answer Absolutely! We use it to grind wheat berries into flour and have been doing so for the last 3 years with no problems and no apparent wear & tear on the machine...and wheat berries are hard!!

QuestionWill this thing blend FROZEN BERRIES for smoothies?? Had a NEW hamilton blender and within a week the motor burnt out because it could not handle frozen berries for smoothies. Don't feel like wasting money on this if it can't handle ice.
