• It comes with a small recipe booklet with some suggestions. But I wouldn't rely on just that book if you are new to using a blender or processor. You can go online and get lots of recipes to use both appliances.

• Yes it comes with a small book of recipe ideas with more online-especially for smoothies. I do not know what you mean by "extract nutrients" you blend the whole item so all the nutrients would still be in there. Same with the food processor part.
