• If you purchase them from the Nintendo Online community, AND they are not specifically nuilt for the Wii U then yes. I.e, old Mario/Yoshi/Donkey Kong games from the original Nintendo or Super Nintendo, yes you can play those.

• As of right now, no you cannot play wii games. You can play select NES titles and Sega Genesis titles.
