• No there will be both an offline mode, and online mode. I'm not entirely sure what you can and cannot do in offline mode. However online will allow you to upload your discoveries to Atlas so if other's see/visit your discoveries they'll see your name and what you've named them. You will also get extra unit's(games currency) when you upload to Atlas.

• No, but in order to have your discoveries seen by others and see what they have logged, you will need to connect to PSN.

• No, they did say you could and made many buy it on that lie, save your money and don't buy it. $14.99 is the price it is worth.

• No the game actually doesn't require PlayStation Plus and the makers said its not multiplayer

• No, but if its not connected, it will constantly try to connect when you pull the map up. And it takes quite a bit just to tell you it cannot connect to the server.
