- Answer It sounds like it is not officially supported. But if you read the review of the Nokia 5.3 on PC Mag's website, they say they had no problems using it on Verizon in Philadelphia. I have not tried it but I suspect that it will work. CDMA is supposed to be going away on Verizon anyways.
