Rich This elliptical’s steppers life up to approximately 24.5” from the ground while in use. Add 6’1” (73 inches) to this measurement and we’re at approximately 97.5” high. A standard ceiling is 9 ft (108 in.) high and would give you plenty of space to use this equipment. An 8 ft ceiling (96 in.) however, may cause a problem. At this highest placement of the stepper, your knee should be bent as the other stepper is lower. However, your height will rise up as you straighten your leg above the higher stepper and it lowers.
