• The photo is the Verizon Home phone and the description is for the Broadband Home phone. They are two different items but Best Buy is showing the same photo. The photo with the previous answer seems correct. Best Buy should correct the info

• Yes it is a full service router. It provides a strong wifi signal, cat5 plugs, TV service (if paid for) and phone hookup. It's the same router you can rent from Comcast (in Maryland).
