• We are happy to confirm that this blender can crush snow into ice. With this being said, we recommend that you use ice fresh from the freezer. Do not use partially melted ice. Ice that has had time to melt a little is less effective as it becomes metled into one block. Start with a few pulses and then go to a continuous blending cycle. For best results, use the HIGH manual setting.

• Yes. I've pulverized everything in this bad boy, if you're not careful it'll turn most items into soup, very powerful with automatic settings as well.
