You should have been asked by your cashier to provide your email at time of purchase. When I purchased the code came the same day - within minutes. It's possible there was a typo when your information was entered. I would suggest first checking your spam folder, and second stopping in the store at the customer service desk and ask them to review the purchase and verify your email.
