Card plays Far Cry 5, Doom, Prey on ultra settings smooth and with 100+ FPS. I just finish building my newest intel build and was looking for a Card that will give me the demand I was asking. Nvidia's 1070 was right for the price got it on sale $349.99 so I got an amazing deal however even at full price $399.99 this card is well worth it.

IF i could give this card 6 stars i would. I wish i never bought my rx580. I couldn't play most my games on high and i run a 2700x. shadow of War Hardly medium to high ... Mass effect Andromeda.. Straight up low to medium. maybe a high thrown in the mix with custom Graphics. This card is superclocked it clocks in at 1989 and settles in around 1860 giving me about 75-125 fps. the rx hardly gave me 60 at lower settings. . Good buy for the money and looks good. it being superclocked this high. it can reach 1070ti speeds. i checked benchmarks and this card can be on par with a ti

I got this after reading several reviews and benchmarks and have to say it more than lived up to the hype! I had read that they werent great overclockers but that wasnt my experience. It was stable at +280on clock +475 on memmory and that's with zero voltage offset. I may have been able to go further but I was beyond happy with that and don't like messing with voltage offsets unless I'm not getting what I think i should. Games, Doom would hit over 190fps at 1080p,Forza Horizon 3 would hit 100 (after most recent patch), Fallout 4 hit the 140's. Minimum FPS never dipped below 60. I ran this on a buddies 4k TV and it did pretty great with that. It's sweet spot is 1440p or a 1080p with a really high refresh rate like 180hz. So in short i highly reccomend, the only thing i would say is that if you are a 1080p gamer this is probably way more card than you actually need unless you are just a fan of your card being a beast. Also keep in mind this thing outperforms the 980to and Titan X of last ten and those cards were A LOT more expensive than this. So in closing, but it, you will love it!

I bought this card to replace dual 970 GPUs and it does not disappoint. Pros: - Dropdead great performance in the most demanding games at the highest resolutions including 5760 X 1080 (triple screens) and 3840 X 2160 (4K) - Does not break a sweat running my Oculus Rift - Looks high end with the Founder's Edition casing - Hot air blows outside back of case - Excellent value at $450 when you consider it outperforms even the might Titan X which costs more than twice as much - Five connectors - 3 year warranty Cons: - Overclocking has not gone well for me yet - Only four displays can be active simultaneously even though card has five connectors - Card is very long, make sure you have enough space in your case In summary, I cannot recommend this card enough, just go buy it!!!

I upgraded from a 2GB GTX 960 video card. I purchased far cry 5 and ran it using my 2GB card. To my surprise it recommended low settings which was already a 95% GPU usage. Needless to say I was disappointed. So I found this card. It was a very good price considering the specs. Easy to install if you have a large case. It was plug and play and came with the latest drivers out of the box. Now I can run far cry 5 and crysis 3 on maximum settings and my machine has no issue and doesn’t overheat. Very impressed.

I have to admit, after having the PNY 1070 and seeing how the cooler works, I decided to give this a try. I am glad I did. Not only did I save money from the PNY version, but this card actually performs a bit better. It overclocks very well and I have no problems running 2 of these in SLI in WoW. I admit, its overkill for that. However, I am very happy with my purchase. Just waiting for the cards as the hard part. I also wish they would let us change the color or "turn off" the LED lights on the card.

As the title states, the GTX 1070 is a wonderful card, but reference cards have horrid cooling, they always have, 1 single blower style fan, you're card just get hot too quick, I ended up switching mine into a. AIO liquid cooler, but after that it's amazing. Plays most games on high to ultra settings with 60+fps

I upgraded from a Radeon R9 280X, which I had for three years, to this Geforce GTX 1070 FE recently. All I can say is HOLY COW!!! This card is fast!!! It doubled the FPS in benchmarks and games run smooth as butter on high or ultra settings. Online reviews put the 1070 faster than the mighty GTX Titan. I'll use either AMD or NVIDIA graphics cards depending on who is making the most powerful GPU at the moment and it's NVIDIA. The stock thermal solution isn't the best on this card, but it keeps the temps in check just fine (83 C max under full gaming load). I like the fact that it blows the hot air out the back of the case instead of recirculating it like other aftermarket cards. The single 8-pin PCI-E connector means it will have a max power draw of 150 watts, which is an improvement from my last graphics card.

I’m in love with this card. I was hesitant because I know the Blower style cards create more noise. However I have it installed in a Fractal Design case with a nice amount of positive airflow and it doesn’t go over 70 degrees Celsius on make load. I’m also getting a boost clock of around 1835 instead of the advertised 1600s. Plus it looks great in my rig.

This will get some hate from the gamers, but I only use this card for mining. Overclocked gets 31mh/s for ETH while dual mining other alts. The hashrate hasn't decreased over time with DAG file growing like with my RX 580's. I'll update this review if they ever burn out since I plan to mine even after profitability is nil as long as I don't go into the negative.

This card is fantastic for gaming at 1080p at high settings. Your get over 60fps for most AAA games. And at 4K at medium setting you can get a solid 30fps. Best Buy sells this card near retail, so no ridiculous markups in price for a very solid card that will be good for years. Highly recommended.

I HAVE A MSI Z270 MOBO,GAMING M5. IT'S MAXED OUT AND THE ONLY ITEM I NEEDED WAS A GRAPHICS CARD TO COMPLETE MY CONFIG. I DECIDED THE NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1070 AND IT WAS A GREAT CHOICE. IT PERFORMS BETTER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD!

Can run games and videos at 1080p with ease and do 4K with minimal lag. This card is good for those who want to watch Netflix, YouTube and do non-resource intensive games. World of Warcraft, first person shooters and 4K hardcores would do better with the GTX 1080.

I went from a GTX 580 to this card (GTX 1070). It runs everything I throw at it. I run a 1080P monitor so I didn't get the GTX 1080. Love it. 3 year old system has a new life!

Even though it is the base model, the amount of overclocking potential is still there and can definitely be pushed well beyond the stock clocks.

Wanted a card that would work for VR and not cost a fortune. This was on sale as the new line of cards will be out soon. Seems to work just fine so far. Planned to build a new computer and installed this in my current one to try it out. Now my old rig has the specs to run VR.

Have been running a EVGA GTX 1060 SSC in the beast my son and I built last summer, wanted a GTX 1070 but had run into my budget wall around 2400. Thought I would wait a couple months then pop for the GTX 1070 and hand the GTX 1060 over to the kid for his box. If you have been following the market it has been nutz for close to a year with prices ridiculous. So, my purchase was put off till now. Have checked online occasionally to see if there might be a GTX 1070 at a reasonable price. Typically, by now the prices would have dipped but due to the demand it’s not happened. Two nights ago, saw that Best Buy had the GTX 1070 at my store at a good price, waited till morning to purchase and of course all gone. Found one at a store 60 miles away and now have it in my machine. Long winded way of saying that I APPRECIATE that Best Buy did not gouge its customers on the price (like other well-known sources have done). KUDOS to Best Buy for not marking up hundreds of dollars on the card. Was it worth a two-hour drive, you betcha. The card is smoking hot (performance that is), sips on the electric juice, and looks very nice behind the tempered glass on my Cooler Master case. Love the light (green) scheme on card edge, goes nicely with the build. Not a top end gamer but enjoy Cities Skylines and CIV 6 to pass the time and the GTX 1070 doesn’t even break a sweat running all settings at full tilt. My GTX 1060 did a great job with the games, but with a fire breathing beast of a machine it deserves a smokin’ hot card. It is the best card for the money for almost any gamer today, and when 4K 120hz arrives you can simply SLI two together and Rock On.
