If you want RTX functionality, now and in the future, it's worth it. Battlefield V looks absolutely amazing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not yet, wait until DLSS starts coming out in games and see if it makes a huge difference in the performance. Right now 2070 is only a little bit faster than a 1080, and they're not cheap unless you have the money to spend.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.based on what I have found about both cards 2070 is about the same as a GTX 1080 the only difference that's noteworthy is the RTX features such as ray tracing and DLSS which games are slowly adopting those features such as FF 15 and Battlefield 5
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. the rtx 2070 isn't much better than the 1080. infact it's almost the exact same card. It is newer and still has immature drivers and issues and Ray Tracing technology hasn't developed enough. The 1080 is a great card and there's really no point upgrading just yet. I would suggest you wait. A better upgrade is a 2080 or a 1080ti.
