The power requirements for your PC are also dependent on the CPU you run, any overclocking you may do. Your RAM available, as well as any hard disks (both solid state as well as older platter drives & M1 & M2s) The calculation for power depends on the devices expected draw. Overclocked? This card can ask for a whopping 530w! (That is worst case scenario) EVGA has a very nice "How much power do I need?" calculator with drop-down windows for settling in on a power solution for your rig if you are in need. Using that, I was able to source a very nice 850W for a build in a 12th gen processor-power hungry board etc etc.. As it said it was sufficient. As such? Based solely on the information you provided, your 850w is sufficient. Run the EVGA calculator or another comparable power-use script-generator if you would like to know more.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have an i7 9700K with the 3090 Ti FE powered by an 850W Corsair power supply. I have not had any issues at all, however I am not sure how the 5800X compares to the 9700K.
