  • QuestionCan you put this in a laptop

    Asked by Randomdude4567.

    • Answer You can get an EGPU case that this graphics card will fit into (like the Razer Core X), and then plug your laptop into the EGPU case if your laptop is compatible with Thunderbolt 3, running Windows 10 RS1 or later or running macOS High Sierra 10.13.4 or later. Make sure the laptop has a Thunderbolt 3 port with external graphics (eGFX) support. But to answer you're question, realistically; I would say you shouldn't try to put this card in a laptop, but there are ways to connect it to a laptop without doing so, though you'll temporarily lose mobility. This would be good for someone who has one (expensive) laptop with a powerful cpu (but lacking when it comes to it's gpu), that they use for school or work and also want to game when they are stationary and at home, without buying a new pc or laptop. This is good for laptop users that don't want to upgrade their laptop as often, but do want to use the newest graphics cards available.
