Not true. This model has a newer Tegra chip and the unit is 25% faster than the older models. True not much else has changed but it is a faster processor. I have both models and I can definitely tell the difference in load times.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The processor has been upgraded and there are additional software upgrades that other sites have confirmed cannot be side-loaded on the older boxes. The remote is infinitely better than the old one, by the way.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The only difference is that the new model is using an Integral 1 Plus processor which is supposed to be slightly more powerful than the older model processor. Geekbench and Antutu showed it was a bit more powerful by around 10 to 15 percent.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It's the EXACT SAME chip! All they did was fix the faulty logic that was preventing it from using the whole processor. Hope that helps....so it's "new" because its finally fixed....but its the same chip.
