“If you have two Samsung TVs in one room can you pair the remote to only work on tv or will it control two at the same time?”

• If the Shield is connected to the TV via HDMI, it can control the TV volume via CEC, so it would only control the TV that it's connected to. It doesn't in general use IR to control the TV it's connected to, so there should be no interaction between the two TVs.

• I would try controlling the TV through the CEC commands from the shield rather than IR.
