• You sure can, it's just another source. I have a tv with smartcast built in along with my nvidia shield. I went all out and also bought the homerun connect quatro, a 4TB hard drive and an HD antenna. with this, you can cut the cord once and for all. getting free games with the nvidia is also a bonus, but you need to buy the version with the game controller.
