• It is not available on the play store for Android TV but you maybe able to side load it. If you don't know what side loading is than using Tasker might be a bigger challenge. Anyway it can't hurt to try and a little research on the net should answer your question in more detail.

• You can load any Android app you wish on the Shield, but if it does not show up in the store on the device itself, you may have to "sideload" it. There are many guides on how to do so on the internet, just Google "sideload apps to shield" it is fairly straightforward.

• You can, but it has a built in task manager to close or access open apps. Push the circle button on the remote twice and it will open.

• Yes, Install Tasker from web playstore... it works fine on the Shield TV.
