A:AnswerNo they are blown up by your pump (not included), placed and secured by there tethers and included stakes and left till the end of the Holiday season as outdoor decor with no electric needed (they are a daytime or back-lit type of display). I'd set them where my lighting was behind them or with a spot light directed toward them.
