A:Answer All Octane models, including the Turbo XL700, only use foam around a seat core that contains individually wrapped pocket coils. These coils are just like the ones found in a mattress and ensure that the seat maintains its form and never gets soft like an all foam seat cushion. The foam that is used over the coils is a 1.8 density which would classify it as medium firmness. In order to get a firm seat cushion one would need to increase the density and that is only possible in custom made to order seats which can be ordered under the My Octane custom program.
