A:Answer Even a little latency is a VR killer. As a result, the Oculus is not wireless. There are a few solutions out there like TPCast designed to take the output of a computer and broadcast it to an Oculus with minimal latency, but these solutions cost as much or more than the Rift itself due to the amount of information that needs to be broadcast quickly.
My recommendation is to get a retractable wire harness system that attaches to the ceiling. This solution works well at keeping the cables from under your feet and can be found for less than $50 (unfortunately it does not appear to be something that BestBuy carries, but they should). The downside is they are hard to hide if that is something that matters to you.
