• Isn't the pancake lens what is shown on the camera in the top view shots? Should probably change that.

• No, the lens included in this kit is the standard M.Zuiko 14-42mm II R Lens, not the pancake version

• no the 28-70 is by no means a pancake lens, but if you dont already have the 28-70 only $200 more than the body is a deal, its a nice lens even for the full price ($500 or so) considering how much more we have to pay for the next one sharper than the 28-70. Good news is if you want to get the thinnest pancake lens it will be easy to choose one because there aren't many such models available.
