“What does "Selective Focus" mean? Is it possible for me to determine which object I am photographing is in focus? I like my manual camera because I can choose to focus on something up-close or at a distance. One reason I have avoided automatic cameras is precisely because I can't choose the object of my focus. Does selective focus act such that I could, without moving the camera, take a picture of a bird at close-range (for example) with the background effectively blurry & out-of-focus, and then take another picture of something in the distance with the bird now blurred and out-of-focus? Thank you!”
