- Answer You definitely cannot accidentally open it. There is a normal latch, like other cameras have. Then a second slider 'lock". You definitely cannot accidentally open it. To see what it looks like, check out Olympus website or check out a YouTube review.

- Answer It records audio for still images and video in stereo. The audio for stills has to be added after the photo is taken and is only recorded for 4 seconds. Audio for video is real time.
