A:AnswerThe camera itself is waterproof to a certain depth (see specs). I only surface snorkel with it so no worries about the depth. There is an optional case you can purchase if you need greater depth and it is supposed to improve usability but it is very expensive.
Other comments about this camera: I would recommend the optional lens cover that twists to open/close. It seems expensive for what it is but protecting the lens is important. Be aware the tiny button to start/stop recording movies is difficult to use. It is also not very obvious on the screen if it is recording a movie or not. I'm very satisfied with the picture quality and the GPS finds your location quickly.

A:AnswerNO The GPS Coordinates do not appear in the Image area after downloading. The GPS info is stored in the EXIF data portion of the file which is visible if the program being used supports EXIF data
A:AnswerIt comes with the camera itself, a strap, and a battery. You have to provide the SD card and case. It comes with a quick start guide but if you want the manual, you have to search online for it.
A:AnswerThis will work with its regular lens in up to 50 Ft of water. Which is good for snorkeling or if your external housing leaks. However, I think its too easy to drop below 50 ft when diving to risk taking.
For depths up to 200 ft there are several housings available from both Olympus and 3rd parties. These housings also include adapters for add on lenses and filters. This camera also has 3 preset under water white balance modes that will make an electronic color adjustment similar to that of an external filter
A:AnswerIn my opinion, this camera is not good for low light. It's main purpose is for underwater and tough sports. Also, it's macro capabilities are astonishing. I use other cameras for low light.
A:AnswerUnfortunately this camera does not include a lens cover. You have to buy it separately which is a bit ridiculous to me. I believe they have it on the Olympus website or you can find one on Amazon.
