Actually, you should be using the DisplayPort hands down if you want the best refresh rate. Dont use HDMI if you care about the best quality
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.That cord you are holding is a USB 3.0 cable that is used for the USB hub built into the monitor, as well as a few other things. If you want to take advantage of the 144Hz you would want to use a Display Port cable. HDMI is limited to 60Hz. Hope this helps!
