QuestionSo I bought this mainly for my Xbox one (not the s). And I've found out that I can only get 144hz thru display port? Now is it possible if we're to get an display port splitter for it to run OR is this monitor cater for PC specifically?

- Answer You can use this monitor for your Xbox but you will not be able to use the 144hz of this monitor, despite what cable you use. If you want to take full use of its 144hz it would have to be used with a PC. Xbox can not push out 144hz or 144 frames per second, it can push out only 60 frames per second.

- Answer DisplayPort 1.2 Certified, DisplayPort 1.3/1.4 Ready. This is the spec on your videocard so it will work fine. Use the diplay port

QuestionI just got the monitor, which cable should i use for best performance? right now i am using the HDMI cable and its letting me run at 144hz. Im confused since i thought HDMI couldnt run 144hz. can someone please explain. I see people say to use other cable

- Answer Depends on the cable. Not all HDMI cables are able to run at 144hz. The cable supplied with the monitor should work. We tried a different HDMI cable at first, and it definitely did NOT work!

QuestionIs this one of the best monitor to use for a ps4? Or will work really good?

- Answer Yes, you can use it with PS4/PS4 Pro but you will not get the refresh rates that the monitor is capable of since the console FPS is locked. It will still look great and you can use this monitor for a good video card in the future if you transition to PC gaming. I purchased this monitor strictly for PC gaming, I don't believe you will get the good operation from this monitor using a PS4 or PS4 Pro as they lock Frame Per Second (FPS) to 30 frames only. The PS4 has HDR only but the PS4 Pro will do the 4K and HDR with this monitor but not the 144hz which is handled via PC Video Card (Nvidia/AMD).

- Answer You are using a mac for gaming... there is almost no way you could get more than 60fps on any modern title at 1080p. Not recommended for your setup.

- Answer The monitor has a 3.5mm headphone jack that can audio out to any audio device. It also has 2 USB 3.0 slots to allow you to connect a Bluetooth adapter, but the monitors themselves can not be connected to a Bluetooth speaker.

QuestionI just bought this yesterday and love its far but the preset color settings are horrible its either blind me bright or so dark I need to turn a light on. I have been searching for 24hrs for any calibration #s. Any help? Can't get colors to look great yet.

QuestionI recently purchased this monitor and i noticed that you can see purple around the edges of the monitor. Does this mean it's faulty, or do i need to change my settings? Its very noticeable when something dark is on the screen.

- Answer Thanks for the pictures. That looks like lightbleed. I pulled up lightbleed test on my HP Omen 25 and i can see faint purple at the edges, but i think mine is less then yours based on your picture. I have not changed any settings on mine, but my HP omen laptop is MUCH worse then your pictures. Try turning down the brightness a little bit, helped a lot on my laptop.

QuestionThis is my first purchase for a gaming monitor. I am looking to run my Xbox One with this screen. What are the negatives any of you guys/girls have seen with using this monitor on an Xbox One? I am just sick of trying to play Call of Duty on my 72" TV.

- Answer if only using for xbox buy another monitor maybe a curve one or just an all around nicer one. your paying for the 144hz refresh rate which you can only get 30 frames per second with an xbox I think halo can get 60 . but your not going to be using it to its full potential I would buy personally like a nice curved Samsung or just a cheap one and spend the money u save on other games or accessories

- Answer There are some auto options as well as different modes like Movie, Gaming, Eco, etc, but I highly recommend going to the HP website and downloading the color profile driver. If you care about the exactness of the colors and image quality this will make a huge difference. Even if you need to make tweaks for your personal preferences it is still the best base to start from.

- Answer It does not. You honestly do not need g-sync. It’s a feature that’s just a bonus. I run a i7-8700k with a water cooled MSI 1080 Ti. This monitor is awesome! Smooth as ever and is a very good price for the quality. I’d recommend getting this. G-sync can cause input lag so I stay away.

- Answer This model does not have G-sync, typically any monitor with G-sync would cost significantly more.
