Depends on the cable. Not all HDMI cables are able to run at 144hz. The cable supplied with the monitor should work. We tried a different HDMI cable at first, and it definitely did NOT work!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.your HDMI will be at 60HZ. Use the display port and the proper graphics card for the higher 144 HZ refresh rate.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can use HDMI for 144Hz as long as you are using HDMI 1.3 or higher cable. If you use an HDMI cable that has the more current HDMI technology, IE; HDMI 1.3 you should be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe that HDMi won't let you take advantage of the free sync option, but if you aren't using that it shouldn't matter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I would stick with the HDMI cable. As long as you are using a VERY GOOD QUALITY CABLE you should be good. But be on the lookout for cheap HDMI cables because they can ruin a picture better than switching to the display port. And I have TV with HDMI running 240 Hz so you can get great refresh rates as long as the cable will support it. Good Luck, Dwayne
