“I recently purchased this monitor and i noticed that you can see purple around the edges of the monitor. Does this mean it's faulty, or do i need to change my settings? Its very noticeable when something dark is on the screen.”

Thanks for the pictures. That looks like lightbleed. I pulled up lightbleed test on my HP Omen 25 and i can see faint purple at the edges, but i think mine is less then yours based on your picture. I have not changed any settings on mine, but my HP omen laptop is MUCH worse then your pictures. Try turning down the brightness a little bit, helped a lot on my laptop.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I did noticed that to in fact i purchased and return 2 of em and both had the same issue! I think its just how the monitor is. Try testing the in-store unit next time your at best buy, you'll see its the same.
