Change the refresh rate. There is a good chance it isn't the monitor.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am not sure what you mean by it ‘wanting to refresh’ but, the monitor has little, to no effect on how the PC performs. Other than resolution, which lowers FPS the higher you raise the resolution. If your sons had no problem with their previous monitors running at 1080p (1920x1080, 16:9), then it is purely the PC itself. I personally had no problem with mine like this, and I have had it for a few months now.
