“Just bought this and headset will not work. Tried headsets on new laptop purchased at same time and works so headsets not the issue. Audio will come through the headsets but cannot get the mic to work can anyone help?”

This does not have a combo jack for a headset. You will need an adapter to plug into the specific ports for headphones and microphone.
