Is the ram a 8gb stick or 2 4gb sticks null

A single 8gb. I recommend buying matched pair memories so they run the fastest together as opposed to just buying one more 8gb and putting it in the currently empty socket. Gives some incentive to getting 2x16gb DDR4 SIMMs and maxing out the memory instead.

It comes with a single 8bg stick with room for a 2nd stick = max 16gb RAM
