“I just bought this and it throttles frequently while playing games. I have updated all my drivers and lowered all in-game settings but my gpu’s still at 96 degrees celsius. I just took it out of the box too. What should I do?”

Thank you for your question! Throttling should only happen when there is an issue with either too much voltage or heat. If you believe it is not typical and the computer should be able to handle the tasks, I would reach out to HP Support for troubleshooting support.
