• Yes, the issue would be the refresh rate. The monitor may not be able to handle the higher refresh rates on certain games and applications so you may not have an advantage on the battlefield. If you wont be playing games then that would be no concern. Your monitor would work just fine and if you ever wanted to upgrade later, your new monitor would work too.
