Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. But you'll have to unplug everything out of the motherboard and then put It all back into the new motherboard. There's really no need to upgrade the motherboard unless you want SLI and more ram slots. The highest CPU that is compatible with this motherboard is an i7 7700 which is plenty for gaming, and video editing. You can also upgrade the GPU to a 1070 TI you can upgrade to a 1080 but I'd probably upgrade the PSU which not easy. So I personally would go with a 1070 TI which then can be overclocked to a 1080. And if you get a new motherboard then you have to completely reinstall windows.
