This is typical. Usually the second reading is lower because your body has adjusted for any stress. If you put the unit on user one it will do an average of three tests with a minute between tests. That's probably to most accurate reading. It will also store the results of the last two hundred average readings. Your manual tells you how to do this.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It is not abnormal, unless it is grossly different. Our blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar changes constantly. You could take it every 5 seconds and it will be different. It just should not be drastically different. I tell my patients as long as it is in the same neighborhood it is normal. For instance if your bp normally runs around 120/70, out of range could be 140/90 and above. I hope this helps
