A: Both, it works on battery and on power adapter that comes with the device.

A: 9:-17" (22cm-42cm)
Q: Is the blood pressure cuff, stiff, hard and pre-formed into a circle? Or is it soft, thin and flat?
A: The cuff is preformed with a plastic insert. The closure fastens with Velcro. Being pre-formed makes it much easier to put the cuff on by yourself.
Q: Is this the OMRON BP786 or BP786N? The BP786N is the newer model.
A: Model BP786N has Bluetooth; AFAIK, model BP786 is the same machine without Bluetooth..
A: Very easy to connect, you do have do download the Omron app first. Once your account is set up, downloading the results to your phone is very easy. You can even send your results to your physician. I have not personally needed to use that function!
