• You can change the input with this remote, but I have not been able to access the tv menus with mine. It only works with volume and power for the tv. I’m using a Samsung smart tv and it specifically says it is optimized for Samsung TVs.

• This remote is programmed by pointing the old remote at it choosing which button you want it to control and pressing it on the new remote at the same time. A little confusing but works well

• I have a Vizio p series tv and sound bar. And for both, I was not able to use any functions other than volume and power on/off button.

• You will only be able to change the input on the tv, the tv functions are power volume and input. The only thing you will be able to change on your surround sound is volume. BB One For All Support
