Q: QuestionWhat is the impedance? not listed on the specs

• A:Answer I am not an expert in this area, but I believe a speaker's impedance only applies to passive (unpowered) speakers. The Onkyo subwoofer you mention is a powered speaker, so it does not rely on the amplifier's power. I have connected this particular subwoofer to several different amplifiers and receivers with no problems. It is a great source of base for a small to medium listening area for music or videos.

• A:Answer I'm guessing you meant H"D"MI, and no it does not. Why would a powered subwoofer need HDMI. It feeds from your source amplifier/receiver. If your source [amp/receiver] has HDMI,it passes through to everything after.
