• I mean, I guess it could be, but you would be risking voiding the warranty and you would definitely not be getting the full benefit. This is a down firing subwoofer and is meant to be directing it's sound down to the floor.

• The subwoofer is front firing and ported in the front so don't see why not. That orientation might minimally degrade the sound like most speakers.

• Probably can...But may effect cooling of amplifier. Product designed to be as it is [vertical/normal].
