• Yes, provided your laptop is Bluetooth compatible. This receiver is also compatible with AirPlay if you have a MacBook laptop.

• I am not 100% sure, but from experience I attempted to connect my Surface Pro 3 with windows 10 to steam audio to the receiver. The Surface Pro 3 didnt recognize the device and would not pair. I just stuck to streaming from phone through airplay. Also, I believe you can put MP3 files on USB and plug in directly to receiver.
