Onkyo has done a terrible job with this. The documentation isn't clear, and the labeling on the back of the receiver could be clearer. It indeed is 7.2 NOT 7.1. I have 2 subwoofers hooked up, and it works fine. What's wrong with labeling the jacks in the back something like "subwoofer 1" and "subwoofer 2?" At least that's clear.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it does 7.2 You can connect the 2 subs to the separate outputs that way you won't need a Y splitter.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Actually, if you look at the rear of the unit, at the sub inputs, there are 2 inputs! So, you can run 2 woofers! Subwoofers don't require a l/r input!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I downloaded the Manual for another 7.2 Onkyo system. It does not do 7.2, it is 7.1 and the zone B does have a dub out. I am not sure why it is listed as 7.2. It does do 2.1.2, 3.1.2, and 4.1.2 setups but you cannot have 2 subs running at the same time on zone A.
