“I have a 3 speaker setup; 2 Klipsch towers and subwoofer. I have an OLD receiver with no HDMI inputs and can't get sound through my receiver when streaming Netflix etc. Do I need a unit with WiFi capability? Which new receiver do you recommend? Thanks”

Even with an old receiver, you should be able to get sound t your speakers.It depends on the wiring. You don't need a unit with WIFI but this will do the job for you.
