Q: QuestionHi, Is this amplifier connectifiable to my cell phone?
Asked by Johnnyjetfan.
- A:Answer Yes. There are many ways to do this. If you can hook your phone up to a headset, you can purchase an inexpensive cord with two rca left and right cables to attach to any conventional amplifier like this. There are also digital inputs on the integrated amp for a wide variety of bluetooth enabled and other devices.

Q: QuestionHow does the Onkyo Amplifier A-9050 compare to the Onkyo A-9010....I was told the A-9010 has better sound...Does Best Buy plan on carrying the Onkyo A-9010 in the near future? I would rather buy from you then amazon.com
Asked by Tom.
- A:Answer I purchased the Onkyo A-9050 integrated amplifier mostly based on it's features because they were suitable for my particular needs, which are very diverse. I did not hear it's performance before actually purchasing it via special order at Best Buy. I also did not get to listen to it's lower-priced counterpart, the A-9010. But from the reviews I was able to find comparing the two units, most listeners felt the 9010 has a warmer, more pleasing sound than the 9050. That stands to reason since the 9010 is completely analog whereas the 9050 contains digital circuitry for modern hardware and software based applications. I have only listened to my unit so far with the studio monitoring headphones I use for critical audio work but I am thoroughly happy with the way it sounds with my most trusted listening device. I am planning to mate it with an all-JBL surround sound speaker setup and I'll be set for life.

Q: QuestionDoes this have a phono preamp? If so is it for a MM or MC, or both?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes. The ONKYO A-9050 integrated amplifier does have a dedicated analog phono input. But it only works with a Moving Magnet type phono cartridge(the most common type). If you wish to use the higher quality Moving Coil type cartridge(which most high-end audiophiles use) you will have to have the additional outboard pre-amp unit required to get the MC signal up to MM level.

Q: QuestionIs this comparable Niles S1275 stero amplifer
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No. First of all, that is a power amplifier. The Onkyo is an integrated amplifier. The Niles needs a preamplifier, or at a minimum, or a device with a volume control to go along with it.

Q: QuestionDoes the Bass and Treble go to -10 to +10 ?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Well there are no number marks on the unit. That isn't a problem with me...I usually leave the treble in the middle and the bass slightly under the middle mark.
