I have same problem on 2 Onkyos. I think they should be recalled.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As long as the CD is clean and there are no scratches, etc. on it, we have not had this problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We replaced our old CD player for the very same problem. The Onkyo one is playing right now and so far so good. I would check with Best Buy or the Geek Squad. Our prior CD player was about 20 years old and we replaced because we fear they will stop making them and we won't be able to play our music!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ido not have the answer, but I will suggest that you use a CD Laser Lens Cleaner to resolve this problem. I have no issues with my player, but I did have a previous ONKYO which started skipping but I had that player since 1998. I replaced that one earlier this year and I have had no problems with it.
