Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Anser it depends. I am an electrical engineer and every speaker has internal impedance. Some are 4 Ohm, some are 6 or 8 ohms. If you have a multimeter, you should be able to measure this. If you do not refer to the manual. If they are same it would work like a champion. If not it would still play but the amplifier may be overheated or would not be able to drive appropriately (causing lower volume) depending upon low or high impedance. Try with low volume and keep or disconnect. If it sounds wired disconnect and do not connect back again. It may damage your amplifier. Hope this helps. I have Sony but now thinking of buying a Onkyo. I will follow the same steps. :-)
