“Specs indicate the receiver is wi-fi enabled but does not have built-in wifi. This typically means some type of wifi adapter has to connect to it to make it wireless to connect to services like Pandora, etc. Is this correct,how do we make it wireless?”

Had this for a year, no WiFi just Bluetooth. But don't worry the sound will stop in 4-6 months and you'll get to ship it to CA to get it fixed all on your dime.
